Jonathan C Chou is a poet, psychiatrist, and educator. He is the author of Resemblance/與, winner of the 2023 Saturnalia Books Alma Book Award. His writing has appeared in Synapsis: A Health Humanities Journal,
The Healing Muse, and the Journal of Medical Humanities. He teaches in the Master of Science in Narrative Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University
of Southern California. He grew up in Taipei, Taiwan, and currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Jonathan is a multifaceted individual— His poetry collection, Resemblance/與, explores themes of memory and history, particularly focusing on Taiwan's 228 Incident of 1947 and the White Terror period. A talented writer, researcher and educator,
